Quick & Easy Halloween Card Video

Welcome back to my blog. With Halloween just around the corner, I know how busy this time of year can get. That’s why today’s project is all about keeping things quick and simple.

This clean layout is a great “make and repeat” layout. Just switch out the Designer Series Paper and greeting for the occasion you need. Let’s look at how easily this spooky card comes together.

Measurements-
5-1/2 x 8-1/2 Basic White cardstock
3-3/4 x 5 Gorgeous Grape Two Tone cardstock
3-1/2 x 4-3/4 Basic Black Two Tone cardstock
1-1/4 x 4-5/8 Gorgeous Grape cardstock
7/8 x 4-5/8 Spooktacular Designer Series Paper

The key to this simple card layout is letting the textures and patterns do the heavy lifting. For this card, I focused on high contrast layers to make a bold statement without requiring hours of work. Bold black and white stripped paper sets a fun Halloween mood. I ran a piece of Gorgeous Grape cardstock through the Seasonal Cheer Embossing folder to add a subtle pop of texture. If you look closely, you’ll see it’s packed with adorable tiny stars and flying bats. I stamped a greeting from the new Design a Tag stamp set and punched it out using the Advent Labels Punch for a perfect Halloween focal point.

Again, this layout can be copied over and over again using any stamp and designer series paper. That’s a win-win in my book!
