A Cute Fall Creative Fold Card

Welcome back to my blog! I would like to say that the crisp autumn air is settling in, but we’re currently experiencing high temperatures with high humidity and thunderstorms in NE Ohio. None the less, I’m still excited to share this creative fold card with seasonal charm. This card stands up, stands out and will bring an instant smile to your face.

The focal panel features an adorable, hand colored scarecrow propped up next to two hay bales ,set against a woodgrain textured background. I used Alpine Winter Designer Series Paper (an Online Exclusive) that’s technically a Christmas theme paper, but this particular navy and neutral plaid pattern works great for an elegant autumn look.

The front panel is an easel fold that will stay propped open against the die-cut fence at the bottom of the card base. Flip the card over to be greeted by three tall, stalks of corn next to the seasonal sentiment. I used Timid Tiger, Darling Duckling, Crumb Cake, Petal Pink and Cloud Cover Stampin’ Blends alcohol markers.

There’s plenty of room on the back of the card for your hand-written message. This was such a fun card to make. Please note that I used my trusty, old faithful Memento Tuxedo Black ink pad for the main stamped images on this card. Since Stampin’ Up! no longer carries the Memento line, you can use any black ink that plays nice with alcohol based markers.
