Do you know the most popular reason to send a card is to celebrate a birthday. Holding a tangible, hand-crafted card provides a physical link between the sender and the receiver. Taking the time to make and mail a birthday card provides a special connection that a quick digital text can’t match.

I choose to make a feminine birthday card spotlighting the Brushed with Beauty Designer Series Paper. You can create dreamy cards with delicate designs in soft pinks, blues, and greens. The stripes, polka dots and florals make layering paper accents easy and fun.

I layered Very Vanilla Two Tone Cardstock, Brushed with Beauty Designer Series Paper to a Petal Pink card base. Flowers from the Lovely Arrangement stamp set were colored with Peta Pink Stampin’ Blends and cut with the coordinating dies. This stamp set had simple delicate line art flowers and several sentiments while the dies cut flowers, leafy accents, labels and background elements. Stampin’ Blends are high quality alcohol markers that come in a dark and light shade for amazing color blending.
