We BEE Stamping Team Blog Hop – Watercolor Techniques
This month, the We BEE Stamping TEAM Blog Hop, is exploring the four watercolor techniques featured on pages 118-119 in the annual catalog.
I went the traditional route using a water painter and ink to create two cards. Since I hadn't picked up a water painter in a couple of years (hate admitting to that), I figured I had better start with something simple. I pulled out the Trust Tools stamps set and coordinating dies to create this super easy thank you card.
I used a scrap piece of Fluid 100 watercolor paper, to stamp my image with VersaMark ink and then heat set with black embossing powder. I used Pecan Pie and Calypso Coral inks with a water painter to add color to my paint brush. Once this was completely dry, I popped it with the coordinating die. I stamped the greeting with Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto a piece of water color paper and added a "swipe" of Calypso Coral ink and attached my paint brush with mini dimensionals. I added some Rainbow dots to finish the project.
