We BEE Stamping Team Blog Hop – Simple Stamping

Welcome and thank you for "buzzing" over to my blog post featuring Simple Stamping.  I love simple!  I don't do complicated in stamping.  Yes, I use dies, punches, ribbon, etc., in my card layouts, but I try to keep everything SIMPLE.  I'm not an "over-the-top" type of card making girl nor do I want to spend hours making a card.  Simple Stamping, using just stamps, ink and cardstock goes back to the very beginning of my Stampin' Up! journey featuring good 'ole fussy cutting.

My card base is a 4-1/4 x 11 piece of Smoky Slate cardstock.  I randomly stamped a envelope pattern, from the Just My Type stamp set, with Pebbled Path ink along the right edge of a 4 x 5-1/4 piece of Basic White cardstock.  I then used my trusty Paper Snips to create a eye-catching border.  The typewriter was stamped with Smoky Slate ink and also snipped out and attached with dimensionals.  The paper outline and greeting was stamped directly onto the cardstock with Smoky Slate ink.    Such a cute and simple card to create with just ink, stamps and cardstock.
