Love Is In The Air

Welcome and thank you for "buzzing" over to my blog today!  This month's blog hop is all about Love.  Love encompasses a range of strong and positive emotional and mental feelings for someone or something.  Love can be expressed in many ways, but let's face it, nothing says love like a hand crafted card.  Yes, it's just a piece of cardstock folded in half but it conveys your heartfelt love to the person who receives it.  Nothing says love like a hand-stamped card!

I wanted to create a masculine Valentine card so I started with Sahara Sand as the cardbase.  I added the Love You Always Specialty Designer Series Paper along with the Love You Always Foil cardstock.  A piece of Very Vanilla cardstock was embossed with the Scripty embossing folder.

The Be Mine Stitched dies were used for the hearts.  I inked up the greeting from the Meant to Be stamp set using Blackberry Bliss ink on Very Vanilla cardstock.  Again, using neutrals to keep with the masculine theme.

Here's a look at the inside of the card.  I used the Detailed Hearts die to create the border along the bottom of the card.
