Spring is a time of new beginnings and the new Stampin' Up! annual catalog launch is just around the corner.  You can order from the new catalog starting May 4th.  One of the perks of being a demonstrator is getting to see the new catalog early.  I've had several weeks to drool over the pages of new In Colors, exciting stamps, bundles, Suite offerings, beautiful Designer Series Papers, amazing die cuts and trendy embellishments!

There is so much to celebrate in the new catalog that I had a difficult time deciding what card to feature in this post.  I finally decided on this one using the Color & Contour stamp set and the Scalloped Contours dies.  You can save 10% when you purchase these items as a bundle.

I used the scallop die to create the cute scallop edge and then added a strip of the Pattern Party Designer Series Paper on the inside bottom of the card for a peek-a-boo effect.  The Pattern Party DSP is a Hostess exclusive.  You can receive 48 sheets of 12 x 12 Designer Series Paper free with a qualifying order.

I used a blending brush to lightly apply Pale Papaya ink to the front of my card.  Memento ink was used to stamp the flower outline and then Pool Party, Granny Apple Green, Polished Pink and Pale Papaya (both new In Colors) for the inside of the flowers.  I used my Stampin' Blends to color Rhinestone Basic Jewels for added bling.
