Snikkers

This site is usually about Stampin' Up! and fun things related to stamping and crafting.  However, this post is dedicated to my sweet baby-dog, Snikkers.  Affectionately, know as Snikker-Doodles, an adorable little miniature poodle, that made his debut into my life sixteen years ago.

He was suppose to be my daughter's responsibility, since he was "her" dog, but after six months, he somehow became MY responsibility.  The funny thing is he ended up becoming my mom's dog.  I've never seen a dog love a person as much as that dog loved my mom.  Life was good, next door at "the promise land," especially if you were a dog named Snikkers. 

Unfortunately, old age caught up with Snikkers.  He had lost his hearing, was loosing his sight, and had arthritis in his spine and back leg.  The most heart breaking part was he started getting lost just going next door to "the promise land." 

So it was with a very heavy heart, that I had to face the fact that it was time to say good-bye to my Snikker-Doodle.  I know I will miss him, but I've been very fortunate to have him in my life.
