Sending Lots of Love – Dressed Down Version

I usually take what I call a "Plain Jane" card and step-it up by adding additional layers or embellishments.  Today, I'm doing the complete opposite – I'm giving you a "dressed-down" version.  How funny is that!

I'm taking the card that was featured in my February 1st post and simplifying it.  Click here to re-visit this post with video.

So here's the dressed-down version, which is still a very pretty card.  This is still the same concept, but what makes this the "Plain Jane" is the Designer Series Paper.  I opted for regular Designer Series Paper,  In fact, this is actually Take a Bow (Christmas) Designer Series Paper.  Both cards were made using the Hearts of Elegance Bundle, an Online Exclusive.

I like them both!  Please leave me a comment and let me know which is your favorite.

  1. I love the idea of taking a card from “stepped-up” to “dressed-down”! It’s such a fun way to show that you don’t need all the extra layers and embellishments to create a beautiful, heartfelt card. Sometimes, simplicity makes the message even more powerful. I’m sure your readers will appreciate seeing both versions!
