Missing In Action
I hope everyone had a warm and safe Christmas!
Nothing like Mother Nature to de-rail holiday plans and internet connections.
Sorry that I've been missing in action the pass few days. My internet service when out on Christmas Eve and is STILL out! Grrrrr……. Thank goodness the library has re-opened and I was able to check out a Hot Spot. At least for now the no internet connection has been solved. Fingers crossed AT&T resolves the issue soon.
Today's card features the Sale-a-Bration stamp set, Beautifully Happy. I used my Stamparatus for perfect stamping placement. I used Memento Black ink for the outline stamp image and the greeting. Fresh Freesia and Granny Apple Green inks were used for the inside (solid image) stamping. This stamp set offers additional options for coloring the flowers and leaves with Stampin' Write Markers, Stampin' Blends, Watercolor Pencils and ink with Blender Pens or Water Painters. I love when a stamp set offers more than one way to add color and shading. I also used the new Designer Series Paper, Country Gingham from the January-April Mini Catalog.
The greeting was popped out using the Stylish Shapes dies and the new Framed Florets dies for the oval and outline frame. I added some 2021-2022 In Color Opal Rounds to the inside of the flower and by the greeting.
Make sure to check back tomorrow for a card using the same layout and stamp set but with a few changes. You know me, if I find a layout I like, I'll use it over and over, but with some "tweaks" along the way!
