Hope You Know I’m Thinking of You
This thinking of you card has lots of layers, but is so simple to make thanks to Stampin' Up! Designer Series Papers. The only stamping on this card is the greeting. All the other elements are cardstock and Designer Series Paper.
So, let's break down the layers for this card, starting at the bottom and working our way to the top of the card-
- The card base is Basic White cardstock
- Next is a layer of Smoky Slate cardstock
- I stamped the greeting, using Misty Moonlight ink, in the center of the above cardstock and then popped it out using the Everyday Details dies. The die cut area will be covered up with the DSP and this saves me from digging for a scrap piece of cardstock. The greeting is from the Hope You Know stamp set.
- Next up is a piece of Thoughtful Designs Specialty Designer Series Paper
- I then added a strip of Smoky Slate cardstock that was embossed using the Timer embossing folder
- Three pieces of Thoughtful Journey Designed Series paper were added to a piece of Lost Lagoon cardstock
- The last cardstock layer is the greeting, which was attached using dimensionals
I added some Pearl Trios to finish the project.
The Thoughtful Designs 12 x 12 Specialty Designer Series Paper, Thoughtful Journey 6 x 6 Designer Series Paper and Adhesive-Backed Pearl Trio embellishments are all part of the Thoughtful Journey Suite Collection, found on page 47 in the annual catalog.
