Embossed Linen Paper Technique
I offer a monthly Technique Class and this was one of the cards we made using the Linen Specialty Paper in the annual catalog. I ordered this paper because it was new and different and then when I received it, I thought what in the world am I going to do with it. I know I'm not alone in thinking that. So, I experimented (more like trial and error) with different ways to use this paper. The first choice was to stamp on it (again trail and error) and I even figured out that you can die cut the Linen paper. Click here if you want to see that post.
I figured if you can die cut Linen paper, you should be able to dry emboss it, right? Again, trial and error, but it is possible to emboss Linen paper if you attach the Linen paper, it's adhesive backed, to cardstock BEFORE running it through your die cutting machine AND use a 3D embossing folder.

I used the Time of Giving stamp set and coordinating dies, Giving Gifts to finish the card.
Thanks for visiting my blog today!
