Charming Day Birthday

This easy-peasy birthday card features the Charming Day Bundle, an Online Exclusive.

I started with a Basic White card base and layered Floral Charm Designer Series Paper onto a piece of Basic Black Two Tone cardstock. Have you tried out the Two Tone cardstock? This is a lighter in weight that the regular cardstock, but just a bit heavier than Designer Series Paper.
I love using Stampin’ Up! two tone cardstock for layering without adding bulk and weight to my cards. The cardstock has two shades of the same color on each side. The ultrasmooth surface makes it a great paper for stamping clean and crisp images. The paper also has white core providing several easy texture options.

I used Pecan Pie, Petal Pink and Soft Sea Foam Stampin’ Blends, alcohol ink markers, to color the stamped image. This was popped out using the coordinating dies and added with dimensionals. I used the Textured Notes dies, another Online Exclusive, to pop out the greeting. Some 2025-2027 In color dots finished my project.

All of the Stampin’ Up! products used to make this card are available in my online store-just click on an image to shop

  1. I like how this post highlights creative layering techniques to make a handmade birthday card both elegant and light. I recently adapted a traditional blessing for a family birthday and it felt sincere.
