Warm Hugs in Card Form

When you can’t be there to give someone a real-life embrace, sending a handmade card is truly the next best thing. Today, I’m sharing a card design that feels exactly like a warm embrace, featuring the beautifully comforting sentiment Consider Yourself Hugged from the Banner Sayings stamp set.

This project perfectly balances rich earthy tones with soft, watercolor-inspired florals to create a card that anyone would love to receive.

Here is exactly what I used to build this look. A clean and classic Basic White card base with a layer of Mossy Meadow cardstock and Delicate Dreams Designer Series Paper. The sentiment is from the Banner Saying stamp set and was inked with Mossy Mossy. A fussy-cut flower for a bit of dimension and a few perfectly placed Glossy Garden Dots complete my project.

I have some bittersweet news about the gorgeous Delicate Dreams DSP used on this card. It has officially hit the Stampin’ Up! Last Chance List. That means once it sells out, it is gone for good. If you love these soft watercolor florals, you’ll want to act fast before it disappears. You can browse all of the Last Chance items and grab your favorites HERE. Don’t wait—snatch a pack up today before it’s too late.
