One Design, Two Ways: Switching Up the Radiant Sunflowers Split Panel Card
If you caught my blog post back on September 27, 2026, you saw my video tutorial on how to create a gorgeous split-panel card using the stunning Radiant Sunflowers Bundle and Sunflower embossing folder. Today, I wanted to share a fun twist on that original design to show you how easy it is to get a completely different look just by adding an additional cardstock layer.
Here’s the original card I featured on September 27th
On the original card, I layered the embossed cardstock directly onto the Very Vanilla cardbase with a subtle strip of Lost Lagoon cardstock to accent and anchor the greeting.
For the second version, I decided to play-up the Lost Lagoon and mounted my embossed cardstock panels onto a layer of Lost Lagoon Two Tone cardstock.
It’s amazing how simply adding an additional cardstock layer can give an entirely new personality to the exact same layout!
