Spooktacular Halloween Creative Fold Card

This creative fold card literally stands out from the rest. I’m showcasing a great creative fold card that will give your Halloween (or any) greetings a major upgrade. This card features a stepped base that pops forward to showcase a spooktacular Halloween card.

When you open the card, the inside reveals a spooky surprise- detailed spiders shaded with Smoky Slate Blends and a bold stamped HALLOWEEN sentiment, with plenty of room a personal not to your favorite ghouls and goblins.

I used a classic Halloween palette of Very Vanilla, Basic Black and Pumpkin Pie cardstock. The background features the whimsical star pattern from the Frightfully Fun Designer Series Paper and finished my project with the Bats, Ghosts and Dots embellishments.

Watch my video below and craft along. All of the products used to make this card are listed at the bottom of this post and available in my online store.

Measurements-
4-/4 x 11 Pumpkin Pie cardstock
4 x 9-3/4 Very Vanilla cardstock – score the long side at 2-1/4 and 4-1/2
3 x 4-1/4 Pumpkin Pie cardstock
2-3/4 x 4 Very Vanilla cardstock
3-3/4 x 5 and 2 x 3-3/4 Frightfully Fun Designer Series paper
4 x 5-1/4 Very Vanilla cardstock for the inside
These are the “basic” measurements. If you want to add the extra Basic Black cardstock layer, just add an 1/8 to the basic measurements.

For this card, I used Memento Tuxedo Black ink, which is no longer available through Stampin’ Up! However, you can substitute this with any black ink pad in your collection that is safe to use with alcohol-based markers (like Stampin’ Blends).

Happy stamping and I can’t wait to see you at my next class!
