Sweet Bugs Birthday Parade

Have you ever looked through a Stampin’ Up! publication and thought, “I really don’t like that set”? That was me when I saw the Sweet Bugs Bundle. I just couldn’t visualize what to do with this set. Then, I had the opportunity to “play” (thank you Linda Bauwin) with this bundle and fell in love with it! Of course I just had to order it.

This stamp and die set offers a sweet selection of garden critters and then die cut snails, bees, mushrooms and other whimsical shapes. This bundle lets you spread joy with each card.

I love the little parade of ants on this card, perfect for a child’s (or child at heart) birthday. I can’t help but smile when I look at this fun card.

I started with a Basic White cardbase and layered Old Olive and Daffodil Delight two tone cardstock with Cute as a Bug Designer Series Papers. My greeting is from the Banner Sayings Bundle, an Online Exclusive. This stamp set includes sentiments for nearly every occasion and a coordinating punch to cut them out quickly. All of the stamping was with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored with Pecan Pie, Poppy Parade, Old Olive and Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends. Mini Dimensionals made it easy-peasy to pop up my ants. Some Dear Dots embellishments completed my card.
