My original card features a Petal Pink cardbase. This is a soft, delicate pastel pink and is one of the coordinating colors in the Lovely Blossoms Designer Series Paper. This designer series paper features fresh, floral blooms, in a palette of soft pink, fern green and navy. It also includes a bonus cut-apart sheet for easy assents. The greeting was stamped using Secret Sea ink and die cut with the Textured Notes dies. This set of dies has a variety of rectangles in different sizes, each with unique die-cut border design. These dies have been a favorite of mine and are on the Last Chance List, so grab your set before they’re gone for good.

Isn’t this a great card to send to a friend to let them know how special they are and your happy to have them in your life. I wanted to send my brother a card to let him know how much I love and appreciate him and my video features that card. Yes, I’m sending a “flower” card to a guy. The card doesn’t feel overly feminine because of I used Cloud Cover for my card base and the bold die-cut greeting. I skipped the Petal Pink Dear Dots and used Cloud Cover Flat Pearls. It’s the same layout, just a few “tweaks”.
