Painted Poppies

This card was one of the choices at my July Buffet Card Class.  Card Buffet is a monthly card class where you pick the cards you want to make.  Click on Events at the top of my blog for a listing of upcoming classes.

The background features the new Typeworn Type embossing folder, my new favorite embossing folder from the Mini Catalog.  The poppies are from the Painted Poppies stamp set and colored using Stampin' Blends.  The greeting is from the Peaceful Moments stamp set and was stamped with Memento Black ink onto Pale Papaya cardstock and popped out with the Painted Labels dies. I added a strip of Hand Penned Designer Series Paper to the side for an added element of color and Genial Gems for added dimension.
