Ombre Masking Technique

I have to admit there are times where I'm amazed that a technique turns out completely different in real life than what I imagined in my head.  This card is one of those examples.  I used the Basic Pattern Decorative Masks and the new Blending Brushes to create an Ombre effect.  Unfortunately, this picture doesn't capture the true beauty of this technique.  I used Cherry Cobbler, Calypso Coral and Petal Pink inks to create a dark to light Ombre effect on Basic White cardstock.  I kept the greeting simple to showcase the beautiful technique.

I offer a monthly Technique Class featuring (3) stamping techniques.  You make a card featuring each  technique along with an instruction sheet with directions and a sample of the technique.  Click on EVENTS at the top of my blog for upcoming classes.
