Stampin’ Up! Announcements

Stampin' Up! has announced they are making some major changes with the coming 2019-2020 Catalog.

They have decided to retire the Stampin' Trimmer, including all accessories due to challenges with the supplier.  They are researching a replacement option which will not be the same as the current trimmer.  There is not a current time frame when a new trimmer will be available.  I'll communicate more details with you when they become available.

Trimmer

Big Shot

Yes, the Big Shot and all accessories are retiring.  Just like the Stampin' Trimmer, Stampin' Up! has experienced problems with the current supplier regarding, embossing folder and dies.  Stampin' Up! will not be offering a die cutting machine in the 2019-2020 annual catalog.  They will continue to offer new dies and embossing folders using a different supplier. Since they're using a new supplier, this means the way you use the new style of dies and folders will be a little different than how you use the the current styles.

Both the new style and the current style dies and embossing folders uphold Stampin' Up!'s quality standards and can work with any die cutting and embossing machine.  In some cases, adaptations like shims may be required because the gap between rollers on machines vary slightly between manufactures.

So while the current situation isn't idea, Stampin' Up! is setting the foundation for greater die cutting and embossing opportunity in the future.

There will be price increases for cardstock, Designer Series Paper and some embellishments in the new catalog.  When it comes to making price changes, Stampin' Up! puts off price increases as long as possible because they know it will impact demonstrators and customers. Take a look at the list and order products you use BEFORE the price increase June 3rd.

I'm not one that embraces change easily, but I'm excited to represent a company that strives to provide us with the best paper-crafting products and experiences without sacrificing quality.  Thank you for your patience and support during this journey of Stampin' Up! changes!
