Mother of Pearl with Stampin’ Blends Cards

I stated in yesterday's post that I would share cards made using the Mother of Pearl Specialty Paper with Stampin' Blends technique.   

I used a Tea Boutique card base with pops of Starry Sky cardstock and ribbon for this card.  The image was stamped using Staz-On ink.

On this card, I cut the Mother of Pearl Paper into strips and attached them to Basic White cardstock.  I wanted to keep the focus on the technique.

I even added strips to the inside of the card

The last card is my favorite.  I used a stamp from the Painted Poppies stamp set.  I think the colors and the poppies look perfect together.  The greeting is from the new Charming Sentiments stamp set.
