Hello Friend with Sweet Bugs Bundle

This is a super easy multi-layer card featuring products from the Cuts as a Bug Suite Collection. This stamp set and dies showcases a sweet selection of garden critters – ladybugs, butterflies, snails and whimsical shapes.

When I first viewed this suite, I completely dismissed it. However, after spending an afternoon “playing” with the stamps, dies and designer series paper, I just had to have it! Funny how that happens, isn’t it.

I started with a Basic Beige card base and added layers of Mossy Meadow, Basic Beige and Poppy Parade Two-Tone Cardstock. I love using this cardstock for layering without adding weight and bulk to my cards. It’s also ultrasmooth, making it great for stamping crisp images like my hello friend greeting and the flowers at the bottom edge of the card.

I added a 3 x 3 piece of Cute as a Bug Designer Series Paper. This designer series paper has ladybugs, fluttering friends and playful patters to add a delightful nature-loving touch to your cards.

The caterpillar was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black into onto Basic Beige cardstock and colored with Crumb Cake and Old Olive Stampin’ Blends Alcohol Markers. I used Poppy Parade Stampin’ Blends for the flowers and Old Olive for the grass.

I finished my cards by adding some Moody Palette Glossy Dots, an Online Exclusive.
