Gingerbread & Peppermint Christmas
It's never too early to start your Christmas cards. There's something special and heartwarming about sending and receiving a holiday card. I have always been a card sender, thanks to my wonderful mother. Plus, I grew up in an era without email, cell phones and texting. The only way to communicate was the telephone or "snail mail." Modern communication methods are great, but let's face it – nothing can replace opening your mailbox to find a hand crafted card. As a Stampin' Up! demonstrator, sending a hand crafted card brings me added joy every time I mail a card.
I used my handy-dandy paper snips to fussy cut the trees from the Gingerbread & Peppermint DSP for this Christmas card. The Checks & Dots embossing folder added texture to the Old Olive and Vellum cardstock. The greeting is from the Perfectly Plaid stamp set and was stamped with Versa Mark ink,, heat embossed with White embossing powder and popped out using the Seasonal dies. I added Red Rhinestone Jewels for some holiday bling.
Make some time to start creating your Christmas cards and spread some old-fashion "snail-mail" joy this holiday season.
