Easter’s On Its Way

I love the creative fold on this card (thank you Jenny and Diana) because it’s so ridiculously easy to make! Plus, it can be “dressed-up” or “dressed-down.” Don’t know what that means? The card featured on this post is a “dressed-down” card, at least it is to me, because there’s not a lot of layers, stamping, etc.

Stayed tuned for a future post that will feature a “dressed-up” version. Make sure to subscribe to my blog so you never miss a post.

My card base is Lemon Lolly and “jazzed-up” with Easter Joy Specialty Designer Series Paper matted with Crumb Cake Two Tone cardstock. This glossy paper features playful bunnies, Easter eggs and blooming flowers with a hint of metallic foil shine. It brings all the charms of spring to your cards and paper crafting projects.

The greeting and cute little flowers are from the Easter Basket Bundle. This bundle is a perfect pairing of stamps and dies for all your Easter and springtime crafting projects with sweet sentiments and whimsical images. I used Pretty in Pink and Shy Shamrock Stampin’ Blends Alcohol Markers. These markers help you easily create highlights and shadows for a 3D effect. Stampin’ Blends combo pack includes a dark and light shade and makes for amazing color blending.

The larger circle is from the Stylish Shapes dies and was cut out using a piece of Pastels Shimmer Specialty Paper, an Online Exclusive) for a pastel sparkle to your cards. The flowers and greeting were stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black and popped out with a die from the Springtime Scenes, a new Online Exclusive, coming March 3rd. A scattering of Rainbow dots complete my Easter card.
