Peaceful Moments Sympathy Card

I love creating cards for just about any occasion; birthdays, anniversaries, or my favorite – just because.  These are "happy" reasons to send someone a handmade card.  Sympathy cards are a necessity of life and at times can be difficult to create because it's not a "happy" occasion.  I kept this sympathy card clean and simple with Basic White cardstock, stamping and some ribbon.  Unfortunately, a childhood friends mother recently passed away and this card will be going in the mail to him and his wife.  

I used the Peaceful Moments and Poppy Parade stamp sets.  I stamped the poppies using Stazon black in and colored the poppies using a Seaside Spray Stampin' Write Markers.  I finished it off by adding Seaside Scalloped Linen Thread ribbon.
