We BEE Stamping Team Blog Hop – Everything Is Coming Up Green

Hello and welcome to this months We BEE Stamping Team Blog Hop!  Let's face it, for the majority of people, the month of March and the color green is usually associated with everything St. Patrick's Day.  Since I don't celebrate St. Patrick's Day, when I hear the phrase, Everything Is Coming Up Green, I think of Spring.  When the calendar rolls around to March, I'm more than ready to put the NE Ohio cold temps, snow and gray skies behind me and focus on warmer temperatures and blue skies that are hopefully, just around the corner.  So, no matter your current climate, I'm  hoping that Everything Is Coming Up Green for you!

Parakeet Party, a current In-Color, is the dominant color for my card.  I used the Cane Weave embossing folder to add a pop of texture to a piece of Basic White cardstock.  I colored the palm tree stamp with Parakeet Party and Crumb Cake Stampin' Write Markers and used the huffing technique to stamp onto Basic White cardstock.  The greeting was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto Basic White cardstock and popped out with using the Deckled Rectangle dies.  I also used 2022-2024 In Color Designer Series Paper and Glimmer Paper in Parakeet Party.  I finished off by adding some Faux Sea Glass Shapes here and there.
