Wild Bunch Team Color Inspiration Card

I’m sharing a card I made for The We BEE Stamping TEAM Color Inspiration Challenge. A color challenge is a great way to use colors you might never have thought to use together, so let’s have a look at what I made using Basic Beige, Golden Glow and Mossy Meadow.

I knew I wanted to use the Wild Bunch stamp set, June Product of the Month, but that was about it. Luckily, I came across a layout from another Stampin’ Up! demonstrator and BINGO – I knew exactly what I wanted to make with this color combo.

The snail and greeting was stamped using Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I used Golden Glow and Mossy Meadow Stampin’ Blends to add color the snail. Stampin’ Blends are high-quality alcohol based markers that easily blend colors to take the guesswork out of shading. Stampin’ Blends are sold in combo packs that contain a light and a dark marker. I added some Wink of Stella to the shell area before die cutting with the Stylish Shapes dies.

I used the new Textured Three Ring Embossing folder to add dimension to Golden Glow and Mossy Meadow Two Tone cardstock squares. The squares were mounted onto a piece of Willow White cardstock that was layered onto Basic Black cardstock. I stamped a background on the Basic Beige card base with Versa Mark ink before attaching my front panels.
